The ISLP Language Center has a twofold mission. First, it aims to offer high-quality English and Italian courses to international students in a supportive and friendly environment, prioritizing the needs of students, whether they pursue academic, professional or personal self-improvement goals. It also seeks to introduce these international students to the culture of Made in Italy in interdependence with the international cultural context.
Second, the Language Center is dedicated to providing ESL/ISL (English as a Second Language and Italian as Second Language) courses specifically tailored to the needs of parents or professionals who speak neither English nor Italian in order to help them integrate into the society in which they reside, work and raise their children.

Interested students are prepared for the most appropriate exam for their level of English. Preparation for these exams takes place after school with English Language Skills practice during the normal course of the school day. Exams are usually taken at the end of the academic year.
Our Language Center is able to offer students the opportunity to gain a certificate in the Italian language by taking the CELI Exam from the University of Perugia.
The CELI Exam certifies knowledge of the Italian Language. It is based on the approach and on the learning objectives indicated by the level of the Common European Framework of Reference of the the Council of Europe. These exams take place only once a year and are divided into three levels: CELI 1-A, CELI 2-B1, and CELI 3-B2.
