Infant Section: Parent-teacher meeting at 3.00. Pupils go out at 1.30. Regular lunch service.The day care service will not be available.
Primary School: parent-teacher meeting for I and II grade at 3.30. Pupils go out 2.30. Regular lunch service. The day care service will not be available.
Middle School: parent-teacher meeting for the VI grade at 3.30. Pupils go out at 2.30. Regular lunch service.

BILINGUAL TEACHERS
We are currently looking for bilingual teachers to work in our school. We are looking for fully-qualified teachers who can speak English fluently and have a basic working knowledge of Italian. Experience of teaching children aged 3-8 is advantageous. We especially welcome candidates who have qualifications/experience of teaching English as a foreign language. Our school has children from countries all over Europe and beyond. The posts require teachers with lots of energy, enthusiasm and great skill in communicating. Homework is online!
The International School of Lago Patria has activated a new Internet service through which student’s homework assignments are available. Parents, by means of a personalized username and password provided by the server, will be able to connect to the school’s home page and thus enter in the reserved area located on the right side of the home page. Upon entering, simply click on the name of your child and a list of homework is provided (five day previous and ten days after). The system is extremely intuitive. To subscribe to this service it is necessary to provide your e-mail address. Once subscribed, a username and password will be supplied to the e-mail address indicated.

People to people
The International School of Lago Patria participated into a program called People to People. Our children received in their families, for an Italian family dinner, groups of students from all over the world. This kind of experience supported the communication among young students coming from different countries and culture; English has been the vehicular language. Groups of students from Pensylvania and Texas have already visited our school. More groups of young ambassadors are coming soon.

International localizes MIT's Scratch
"Scratch" is a programmable toolkit that builds on the important tradition of Logo language (Seymour Papert) and LEGO Mindstorms experience. It helps the kids to get started with programming while creating their own games or interactive art. International School has been given the chance to "localize" (translate into Italian) this software, while it is still under developement at the MIT Media Lab: Scratch, in fact, will be available for free public download later this year.
